Plastic sledge

The other day we did something with our children or actually our oldest daughter Mirelle which we should do a lot more often. We visited the local skiing hill Öjberget. The landscape is very flat around here but Öjberget is part of the the outer rim of a 560 million year old impact crater called Söderfjärden. We left the twins in the car sleeping, we parked our car 20 meters from the sledge hill just in case the twins awoke and brought out the plastic sledge.

She really enjoyed it and there where lots of other kids with their sledges and their parents in the hill. We should definitely do this more often.

  1. This sounds like fun! We would use the word "sled" or "toboggan" for the same purpose! I think your twins will get very used to watching from the car, that has been the case for our 4th because with an 8 year spread between our children the youngest has been dragged to all sorts of outings that he was too young for! :-) With our baby being a big boy 4 years old, he gets to participate more now!

  2. I used the dictionary so sledge seemed like the most appropriate alternative =). I'm always worried that those left in the car will freeze or get to hot and what will other people think of us fore leaving the kid(s) in the car, only if it is for 2 minutes. I guess I'm a normal parent =)
