The calm before the storm

It has been an exceptionally beautiful day, well at least before I got to work. The sun was shining and it was around +7 C and no wind. Well now it’s cloudy, +4 C and no wind. It’s still good weather for this time of year. Well that’s just the calm before the storm.

The storm that is expected to hit some time tomorrow are the kind of storm that brings 1-2 feet of snow and loss of electrical power in large areas, nice…

  1. Wow....1-2 feet of snow would be AWESOME! All of our schools would close, no one would go to work, it would be like a national holiday! I suppose that is not the case in Finland! Did it make for a busy night at work?

  2. Well it only fell a few inches but the storm caused a lot of power failures. Here 2 feet of snow is a good excuse to be a bit late to work. In Gävle north of Stockholm in Sweden it fell 5 feet over a night, only then was people excused to stay at home all do but only that day. Well I did a few hours overtime…
