Facebook profile

I'm thinking about linking my blogs to Facebook. Either on my Blogger profile as my homepage and/or as a profile link. You can choose what you put in your profile link but it's a small box that could contain your picture, e-mail and status update and when you click it you find yourself on my Facebook page. There's also a link on how tocreate a profile link of your own. But I'm not sure it's a good idea. I mean it's not difficult to find my Facebbok profile. It's a matter of not making it too easy. What do you think?

  1. On a more serious note, they're profile badges in English and for some odd reason the e-mail thing doesn't work with them right now. I have set my hompage to my Facebook profile on my Blogger profile.

  2. I've always kept my Facebook page completely separate from blogging, but I had a lot of haters when I blogged on Facebook. I just made the decision that I wanted there to be one place in the world that was private...where only people I knew in real life could find photos of me and my fiance and my niece and nephew and future stepdaughter. It's different when you have children in your pictures. It took one time of someone photoshopping my fiance's head on the body of someone using a toilet for me to decide to keep that part of my life separate.

  3. About 5 years ago I took part in a debate on an Internet forum that wasn't clean. At that time the police didn't care what was written on the Internet. So you cold do anything online, hack people's e-mail and send animal porn to their boss, threaten them, slander them in any way... All of those things was illegal then but filing a report to the police meant that it was archived. It's only during the last few years that prosecutors have taken those cases to court and there have been convictions. During that time I took my real name of the Internet. If you searched my name on Google you couldn't find it. But that's a long time ago so those Internet haters are a thing of the past now...

  4. Hi Dojle, I've just seen Avatar. I had to bring out the tissues some scenes. Fantastic movie. Thanks for highly recommending it.
