Lesson of the weekend

I learned an important lesson during the weekend. When you are barbequing chicken and are hungry, do not taste the chicken before it’s well done.

Yes I’m feeling better now and Nina waited until the chicken was well done…

  1. Oh NO!!!!!! YUCK!!!!!!! Glad you are feeling better. That is so gross. I am paranoid about raw meat. I like meat, a lot...but it is the family joke that I like my steak "burnt" because I really don't to ever see pink in the meat! Blech!

  2. Well it was sort of pink in the ends but it was getting dry and burnt around and had been on a long time. One of the problems is that we have an electrical grill; it’s not really meant for thick stuff. Next summer we are getting a gas grill.

However tonight we are barbequing again, but this time we are barbequing sausages. It’s almost impossible to fail with those, since sausages can be eaten cold, cooked, fried, barbequed, whatever…

Eating five marshmallows last weekend after the pink chicken was probably a bad idea too. :-P.
