Puppy photographing

Tomorrow we are going to see a puppy (well it’s actually about 7 months old) and takes lots of pictures. But we sent both of our cameras memory cards away for development. No problems, we’ll buy another memory card the next time we’ll go shopping before we see the puppy. Yesterday we were thinking about going shopping, we didn’t because we’ll have all the time on Saturday (today).

There is a problem, today is not only Saturday, it’s Epiphany. It’s a red day in the calendar, a Holiday. No stores are open that sell memory cards to digital cameras. Only small grocery stores are open and we happen to live 5 minutes from the only 24/7 supermarket in tow. Unfortunately that doesn’t help much; I’ve seen single-use cameras, batteries and films on their shelves but that’s about it.

But no worries, I have this old memory card; I think it was 16 MB or was it 8, worst case scenario it’s 4. Anyone who has photographed puppies knows that they move a lot. I’ll be deleting a lot of pictures as I photograph…

  3. Well, the one we photographed my gf already own but it's a breed dog and a family is taking care of it as if it where there own, and it will be theirs after a certain number of litters. But until then we can take it to dog shows.

    This is a copy-paste-thing from Wikipedia =)

Epiphany (Greek: επιφάνεια, "the appearance; miraculous phenomenon") is a Christian feast intended to celebrate the 'shining forth' or revelation of God to mankind in human form, in the person of Jesus. The observance had its origins in the eastern Christian churches, and included the birth of Jesus; the visit of the Magi, or Wise Men (traditionally named Gaspar, Melchior and Balthasar) who arrived in Bethlehem; and all of Jesus' childhood events, up to his baptism in the Jordan by John the Baptist. The date of the feast was fixed on January 6.
