Back at work

Rome was great, a bit expensive but I would like to go there some day again. Anyway, New Years Eve was calm, we just got back from our trip so it was spent quietly with some sausages and potato salad at one of my girlfriends friends place. Then we just drove around watching fireworks.

I’m back at work now, 4 evening shifts…

  1. Hard to believe it was almost 10 yaers ago that Shawn and I were in Rome. EEK! We found the most beautiful church tucked along a little street between the Pantheon and (I think) Trevi fountain. And isn't the Coliseum amazing?! Wow. Way bigger in real life...and we really enjoyed the ruins across from it even more. You are fortunate to have gone... we would love to go again!
    Happy New Year, Boris!!!

  2. It’s called the Eternal City for a good reason =). We managed to see most of the-must-see-things in three days, Coliseum, St Peters Cathedral, Catacombs under a church near the Coliseum, shopping… Unfortunately we didn’t have time to see the Sixteenth Chapel or any other of the Vatican Museums. We also saw an exhibition of Chinese artifacts (yes in Rome). Very expensive but it would be great to go there again =).
